The Denver Nuggets are lead by two of the leagues top scorers, Allen Iverson, who they acquired in 2007 in a trade with the 76ers, and Carmelo Anthony. The Denver Nuggets have been a Championship contender n the west for the past several years, and with a healthy team they are still a major contender in the wild western conference.
The Denver Nuggets joined the NBA in 1976 after playing in the ABA for 7 years as the Denver Rockets. They currently do not have any Championships throughout there history in the league, but certainly have the team that can contend for one.
