The team also has tended to overpay players, and make trades to put them farther in the salary cap hole. The team’s home games are filled with boos and has been recent efforts by fans to make Dolan sell the Knicks. Through all these troubles, The Knicks are still the NBA’s most valued franchise, at $608 million (Forbes.) The Knicks have two championships in their history, 1970 and 1973.
