Mavericks extend home win streak to 7 (AP)
Shawn Marion scored a season-high 29 points and the short-handed Dallas Mavericks stretched their home winning streak to seven games with a 93-87 victory over the Phoenix Suns on Monday night. Marion, who entered with five 3-pointers all season, went 4 of 6 from behind the arc and 11 for 20 from the field.

Magic fall 87-56 to depleted Celtics (AP)
The Boston Celtics’ injuries didn’t affect what coach Doc Rivers always wants — solid defense. Paul Pierce and former Magic forward Brandon Bass each scored 19 points to carry the injury-riddled Celtics to an 87-56 win over Orlando on Monday night.
