Jefferson’s 30 help Jazz beat Cavaliers (AP)

Al Jefferson scored a season-high 30 points and Paul Millsap added 19 and the Utah Jazz defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers 113-105 Tuesday night. It was Utah’s fifth straight win as the Jazz (6-3) improved to 5-0 at home. The Jazz are off to their best start at home since beginning the 2008-09 season at 6-0.

Thunder top Grizzlies, extend run to 4 (AP)

Russell Westbrook scored 30 points, Kevin Durant added 22 points and 11 rebounds, and the Oklahoma City Thunder won their fourth straight with a 100-95 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies on Tuesday night. Westbrook hit seven of his first eight shots to lead the Thunder with 18 points at intermission.

Sixers rout Kings for sixth straight win (AP)

Elton Brand had a season-high 21 points and 10 rebounds, and the Philadelphia 76ers routed the Sacramento Kings 112-85 Tuesday night for their sixth straight victory. The Sixers are 7-2 and lead the Atlantic Division. It’s their best start since Allen Iverson helped them open 10-0 on their way to the NBA finals in 2000-01.

Bucks C Bogut back from 4-game absence (AP)

Milwaukee Bucks center Andrew Bogut has returned to the starting lineup after missing four games to fly home to Australia for an undisclosed personal matter. The Bucks lost all four games that Bogut missed. The center has not disclosed why he left, but said it was a family emergency that involved a hospital.
