Sixers sign 1st-round pick Holiday (AP)
The Philadelphia 76ers have signed first-round draft pick, guard Jrue Holiday. Holiday, 6-foot-3, 180 pounds, was the 17th overall pick in the draft and was an early-entry candidate out of UCLA following his freshman season. He averaged 8.5 points, 3.8 rebounds and 3.7 assists in his only season with the Bruins.

Barnes, Magic agree to 2-year contract (AP)
Well-traveled free-agent forward Matt Barnes has agreed to a two-year contract with the Orlando Magic. Barnes' agent, Aaron Goodwin, who also represents Magic All-Star center Dwight Howard, confirmed the deal in an e-mail Monday, but declined to disclose financial terms.
